Vantiv ONE turns one this week. We're one year older and one year smarter, so we're giving everyone who joins this discussion a sweet gift (a Vantiv ONE t-shirt), and we're giving 3 people with the most-liked replies a Tech mule kit with a custom copper mug, a lime, and a bottle of ginger beer to get the party started.

Edit: July 31, 2017: Congrats tl6822 , akl, and mpooler! Please message me with your t-shirt size. (We have unisex sizes S, M, and L.)

I won't give you just one thing I learned, here are several:

  • I learned that jmather would feel better about investing money in bitcoin over gold (read about it in an upcoming blog post!)
  • I learned that while my hair looks acceptable from the front view, it looks terrible from the side.
  • I learned how to install a lift kit, radius arms, front end bushings, master cylinder, brake lines, axle bearings onto a 1972 Bronco.
  • I learned what it's like to go several days without eating (consuming nothing but water - yes, I did this by choice)
  • And here's a bonus: something I'm learning now... (and a secret...  I literally have not told anyone this until right now - not even my wife knows):  In the mornings at about 4:30AM I watch a new instructional dance video on YouTube and am trying to learn how to dance before I leave for work.

I learned you can easily access a variety of documentation support for advanced platform features.

Here's a few things I've learned:

1. We never know what the future holds and sometimes what seems devastating in the moment will turn out to be a blessing.

2. Jelly fish love me and I do not love jelly fish. (I've been stung multiple times this year)

3. Helping customers try to avoid "friendly fraud" chargebacks is not easy. After mountains of research it looks like there is not a fool proof way to go. (Any tips on this would be great to pass along)

I have learned a lot about triPOS.  How each version works, their intricacies, and compatibilities.  It has been exceptionally informative and extremely helpful to have such an amazing wealth of knowledge ready to be accessed and utilized.
