Welcome to Worldpay from FIS Integrated Payments developer community. This site is designed to get you familiar with the variety of resources available to help you integrate our payment processing solutions and add-on features to your payment application. Worldpay from FIS Integrated Payments leverages two core platforms: Express and MercuryPay. Whether your payment application is for card present or card not present, we use the latest technologies to help reduce PCI validation and time consuming EMV network certifications.

With Worldpay from FIS' Integration Suite for both MercuryPay and Express, software vendors have a simple, direct path to:

Removing applications from scope for PA-DSS validation
Direct integration methods for complete control
Payment middleware reducing cost and time during development
Omni-Commerce platform development

What are my Integration Options?

Integration Life Cycle

1. Solution Architecting

You will be assigned a dedicated Solutions Consultant for the duration of your integration project and for the life of your business relationship with Worldpay from FIS Integrated Payments. As a first step our Solutions Consultants will work with your team to aid in:

Deciding which features and functionalities you wish to implement. This may drive the programming language or integration method best suited for these features.
Understanding the specific requirements for your target industry/business.
Deciding which integration method best fits your payment solution architecture.

2. Active Development

This is where you will actively integrate your solution to Express or MercuryPay processing platforms. You will also find endless resources on this site, our GitHub repositories and a level of payment expertise from our Solution Consultants that is above industry standards.

Contact integrationteam@vantiv.com to order test cards, test devices and of course for any questions that arise during your development work.

3. QA and Certification

Once your integration work is complete, we will perform a series of reviews to make sure your payment solutions is functioning properly and ready to go to market.

Transaction Review: All payment solutions require a transaction review. Worldpay from FIS Integrated Payments will provide a custom script fit for your integrated solution. Once approved by our Solution Consultants, we will provide you with a Transaction Review Certification letter.
Compliance Review: Our compliance specialists can assist with a preliminary compliance review and assist with questions you may have in preparation for a Qualified Security Assessor audit, if necessary.
Beta Review and Certification: Before releasing your payment solution into production, it will undergo a Beta review. During this time, your Solution Consultant will monitor and review all of the transactions that are processed, and analyze them to ensure payment-type interchange stability and to ensure that the best-qualified rates are maintained.

4. General Availability

After your product is released into full production, Worldpay from FIS Integrated Payments provides you with ongoing resources and support, including:

5. System Enhancements: Upgrades or Adding New Features

Releasing your payment solution into production is not the end of the story. We welcome your participation in the Worldpay ONE Community, an online community that is working together to share ideas and propose solutions. We want all of our members and visitors to have the best possible experience; and your respectful and cooperative interactions will help us achieve that goal. Thank you for using your best judgment as you participate, for following our guidelines, and for reporting abuse and other inappropriate content if it is posted.

The Worldpay ONE Community will be supervised by moderators that will review content, help our users get the information they need, and address issues that members bring to their attention. These moderators may delete or edit content that is inappropriate, misleading, or doesnt follow our guidelines.

While common sense is typically the best guide, we have established the following guidelines to set general expectations:

What to do:

Enjoy our community. Ask questions, share knowledge, and reach out to other people to exchange ideas respectfully.
Play nicely in the sandbox.
Only upload and post content that is appropriate and belongs to you.If you upload an avatar or profile image, only use images that you have created or have permission to use. Posting content that doesn't belong to you puts you at risk of liability, and we will moderate your content or terminate your account to protect you and the community.
Be yourself.

What to avoid:

Using online banking credentials to register. It is important to use different passwords for online banking and social media sites. Please use a new password for this site.
Being inappropriate.
Being off-topic, boring, or making angry comments.
Providing commercial content or spam.
Making personal attacks.
Posting illegal content.
Using offensive language.
Using personally-identifiable, private, or confidential information. Our websites are for general use and are not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information via our websites, applications, services, or tools from users under the age of 18. Comments in HTML format will not be accepted.
Our point system and user status is designed to reward users for making positive contributions to the community. Please don't take actions solely for the purpose of amassing more points and improving your status, especially if those actions won't enhance the community experience.

Does the PaymentAccountCreate method validate the expiration date of the credit card

We recently accepted a credit card where the expiration date was 02/20 but when we attempted to charge the card the response was Expired Card. I asked relationship manager to help us, she did a review of the card and found other transactions from other merchants however she shows the correct expiration date is 02/21.

My question is when we call the PaymentAccountCreate method does it validate the expiration date on the card? If it does not then how do we know if we have entered the correct expiration date?

It's grad season - which means tons of bright-eyed, newly-minted college graduates are hitting the proverbial pavement (er, the keyboard at least), degrees in hand, hoping to snag a job.

As a liberal arts major myself (English and Philosophy - If you want to talk John Locke and epistemology, I'll be your best friend), I asked Worldpay's Senior Talent Management Consultant Audrey Inniger how students interested in a programming or engineering career can stand out in a job search, even if they don't have a degree in the field. Here's her 5 tips for new grads:

1) Embrace what makes you unique.

Use the distinctive skills you learned within your major to create a selling point for the role you hope to achieve. For example, perhaps you were a Philosophy major, hoping to obtain a role as a Software Developer. When going through the job hunt, discuss how your major in Philosophy allowed you to learn how to critically think and solve problems, which will help you excel in your work as a Software Developer.

2) Take advantage of free tools and curriculum.

Utilize free tools to update your technical skill set related to the job you want. There are many resources available both online and at your local public library that you can use to enhance your skillset: podcasts, books, technical trainings, online courses, and tutorial videos. Personally, I recommend Codeacademy.

3) Leverage your network!

Take advantage of LinkedIn connections, your university’s alumni network, and friends to schedule informational conversations to learn more about potential opportunities.

4) Don't rely on cookie cutter resumes.

Not all jobs are the same, so your resume shouldn’t be identical for every application either. Tailor your resume to the role applying by listing your skills and experiences that best fit the job description.

5) Include a cover letter.

I typically don’t recommend a cover letter, but in this scenario, it’s smart. When you’re new to the job market, a cover letter is a useful way to list your transferable skills, and the reasons why you are applying for a role outside of your dedicated major.

I see in the eProtect-iframe-enhanced-ux.js that gets loaded when the iframe loads that there is a cvcPaste and panPaste function, but I don't see any documentation on how to access those events.

TriPOS/Verifone Questions

Here's a series of questions a reseller recently asked me:

I’m using triPOS with a Verifone VX805. I’d like to use the mag-stripe reader on the Verifone device to capture swipes of things like loyalty cards & gift cards, and receive those, unencrypted, at the POS rather than sending them on to the processor as a normal EMV transaction would.

The questions I have are:

Can the Verifone VX805 support this?
Can triPOS support this?
Does the PCI PTS allow this?

Possible to save the Expiration Date using Hosted Payments?

We are adding store-and-forward to our triPOS payment integration.

We always use store=automatic and forward=automatic.

Currently, we are developing against triPOS 5.14 on a Windows 10 machine.

We can now successfully cause payments (triPOS sale) to be stored by unplugging the network cable.

In our latest test, there were three stored payment transactions in the triPOS database.

When we plugged the network cable in, the stored transactions were forwarded.

When we reviewed the stored transactions that were "Processed", these three all had an approval number 000043.

Should we expect payments (and refunds?) to have non-unique approval numbers?

We have attached the XML response from the triPOS stored transactions API endpoint where you can see the three storeTransaction elements containing the embedded json blob that carries the approval number.

How do we do this?

When we unplug the network cable to simulate a loss of connectivity, every transaction is declined.

How does eProtect iFrame prevent it's abuse

As per my understanding from the documentation, the only required parameters to load the iFrame on your page is paypageId and the appropriate script eProtect src link. All these parameters are available in the javascript, therefore client facing. Thus, any user can find these from console and obtain the iFrame in their website and abuse the system. How is this abuse prevented?

PUT /api/v1/configuration/application

We are endeavouring to make use of some of the configuration API endpoints so we can ensure our customer configuration is consistent with the capabilities of our solution.

This endpoint was chosen as a reasonably simple test: we want to force testMode to FALSE programmatically.

Unfortunately, the api documentation just shows yards of JSON and our existing payment integration makes use of XML documents.

We are seeing a 401 returned whenever we PUT to api/v1/configuration/application.

What is different about the configuration endpoints relative to the Auth and Refund type endpoints?

What is the stored transaction lifetime?

We are extending our triPOS payment integration to work with automatic store-and-forward.

In the documentation, the section "Querying the Database" indicates the GET /api/v1/storedtransactions endpoint "returns all of the information about each stored transaction regardless of its state".

After a stored transaction is automatically forwarded and its state changes to ERROR or to PROCESSED, how long does it remain in the database?

Response 887 from eProtect?

My developers have made successful calls to vantiv litle api for ecommerce CC auths and we need to obtain credentials for pre live account to get certified.

Over a month ago and received no email, i have contacted support multiple times and am extremely confused as to what our next step should be.

The client we are working on the integration for has notified us that we need to become a partner, so we have registered for this a few days ago and was told a rep would contact us but have not been contacted.

I'm trying to integrate Vantiv Express with our ticketing system ( ecommerce )

I'm using the web service endpoint in C#

I'm fine with basic feature credit card sale, credit card authorize and so on.

But i'm in problem with tokenization.

Let me explain:

I succesfull create a "PaymentAccountID" using the hosted page with PaymentAccountCreate ( but no ccv visible )

When I try to "CreditCardSale" I get the error "Card Number Required" but I supplied "PaymentAccountID" in ExtendedParameters.

The second problem regarding the hostedpage in "PaymentAccountCreate" mode it's how can i make visible the ccv field?

There are example of this 2 arguments.

Merchant ID & Sandbox

I've seen a couple questions on here about finding your Merchant ID (for example: Need Merchant ID ) - but there don't seem to be any resolutions. So I'll ask my own question!

We're working on setting up a gateway to use Vantiv, either custom built or using WooCommerce. In looking at the WooCommerce plugin, I see there's a space for Merchant ID. This is separate from User ID, which I assume is the one they use to log in at coremanagementsystem.com.

How do we get a Merchant ID? Is it something I can find under their account on coremanagementsystem.com? Or is it something we get when we sign up at Vantiv eCommerce Certification - New Organization Registration ? They're a current customer, so I hesitate to go through the "New Organization Registration" process unless we need to.

However, today, I noticed that one of my accounts.... Risk has it on a 'routing hold'

When I went into NPCrm, I noticed that it's on a 30 day close per investigations. No idea why

All I see is a Problem Code of: INV 1 FNBO

Can someone tell me what that is? Or possibly even tell me if I can get a list of 'problem codes'?

Mojopay interfaces with Vantiv for onboarding and transaction processing..

We are trying to enhance our application for "Recurring bill Payments".

I was following one of your documents in trying to understand the services that I need to interface for "Recurring Bill Payments".

The document I followed was " Express Interface API V2.7.7 03022016.pdf.

I believe I need to utilize TransForm® Tokenization .
I see that I need to use the PaymentAccountCreate service to get the PaymentAccountID (a GUID/token) that is required to establish the recurring payments.

I wanted someone who can assist me with the interface request parameters that is required. Also I wanted someone to confirm whether I am on right track.

This is what the document highlights.

Recurring Transactions

Recurring transactions are a unique type of transaction where consumers authorize merchants or

solution providers to bill a specific card on a regular basis (e.g. monthly membership fees). Each

recurring transaction may be for the same or fluctuating dollar amounts. To perform recurring

transactions merchants must store cardholder information. Cardholder information can either be

stored locally or remotely using Element’s TransForm Tokenization technology.

Note Storing cardholder information locally is a significant financial risk and is subject to the

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Please visit www.pcisecuritystandards.org for

more information.

Setting up recurring transactions consists of two parts:

Part 1: Set-Up Transaction: For the first transaction in the series, send in the same data as a normal sale

transaction. This is Track Data for card present transactions, or Card Number, CVV, and AVS data for

eCommerce and MOTO transactions.

Part 2: Recurring Transactions: For all subsequent recurring transactions, send in the cardholder

account number (not Track Data) as well as Billing Street and Zip Code data, and set the RecurringFlag to

“true.”

My organization is currently using Vantiv for credit card processing and Salesforce for donor tracking. But the two don't currently operate together. We're interested in linking the two so that we can automatically update records in Salesforce based on payments received. I'm not sure if there's a ready-made tool to do this, a third party tool, or if this is something we'd need to build ourselves. Any guidance you could provide would be most appreciated.

My name is Mario, I am a developer, I want to run a local startup business in Hong Kong which may involve in the digital payment area.

However, I am a newbie in Online Payment Mechanism, I even don't know how Credit Card Network works and what Merchant, Payment Gateway / Provider, Processor, Card Issuer actually done.

Yesterday, I downloaded the Apple Pay SDK and setup it up on my web, whenever I setup, I tried to perform a pay action in front-end, after that, I got this Decrypted Payment Token generated by Apple (Masked something and enclosed in attachment), however, I don't know what it is. At last, I want to ask is there any plans is suitable for my business which may have many micropayment-specific transactions every day, the flat-fee (Processing fee) of most of the Payment Provider is not fair to us.

I'm looking at implementing recurring billing via MercuryPay. I'm referencing the MercuryPay Platform Integration Guide.

The "Getting Started" section says this (emphasis theirs):

All use of recurring tokens must be clearly stated in the merchant’s terms and conditions, and signed by the cardholder indicating acceptance. The banking industry monitors their use. Recurring tokens should not be used for Card on File transactions where the cardholder is not charged a true recurring transaction.

But then the MToken section says:

The token can then be used in place of the cardholder account number to perform subsequent transactions if required, or it can be stored safely for card-on-file recurring billing programs.

As well as:

By replacing card data with a token record, MercuryPay’s tokenization processing helps merchants achieve PCI compliance and enables them to safely implement features such as recurring billing, card-on-file, and gratuity handling.

How does a "card on file" transaction differ from a "true recurring transaction"? The guide uses "card-on-file" repeatedly in contradictory ways but never defines it.

What I'm trying to do, ideally, would be best described as a payment plan. The customer would make an initial down payment and then be billed monthly 4 additional times.

Has anyone encountered the same lack of ability to set line item data in the Vantiv/Litle Java SDK. We currently have been using straight XML utilities to build the XML but wanted to migrate to the SDK.

Is their a specific reason that there is a getter for the line item data on the enchanced data element but not a setter?

Does any API interface offer a pci compliance path where the ecommerce HTTPS request posts directly to vantiv servers thus taking the ecommerce server out of PCI Scope? (Right down to SAQ-D survey)

I do have credentials for the Pre-Live Environment and below URL

I have validated and verified the XML which seems correct. When I request above URL to test transaction it does not respond to any message

I just end up with the timeout after few minutes.
